Livonia, Michigan (Detroit) November 21 and 22 was once again the place to be for cat fanciers.
The International Cat Association held another successful TICA cat show attended by the highest quality of felines on the continent, 21 different breeds were represented and Boreal Cattery was proud to be part of the event.
Tecumseh our five month old male and Bijou our 11 month old girl really made us proud. We couldn't ask for any more, they both conducted themselves as if show business was in their royal blood.

Tecumseh received nine finals out of a possible fourteen and was the 3rd Best All Breed kitten in the show. Bijou claimed four finals propelling her well into her triple Grand Champion title. Many judges saw in Tecumseh the same quality his dad displayed during his show career, beautiful round eyes, thick lush coat and charm that just doesn't quit. Most agreed this boy has potential to be an international winner.

We enjoyed the hospitality the Radisson Hotel offered, the cats really loved the big washroom specially the extra large shower. They took pleasure sitting down at the far corner of the shower watching as we showered. The British Shorthair breed seem to have a fascination with water and plumbing in general, perhaps a distant memory from their past.

The event was a complete success and we look forward to show our cats again in the near future. Visit us again or check the TICA web site for future shows.
