Nov 13, 2009: News from TICA 2009 Montreal Cat Show

This is our second cat show since Bloke retirement last show season. Going to Montreal was a thought in Natalie's mind long before I ever heard the words "Pack up the cats, we are going to Montreal".

Natalie's master plan soon came to light during our six hour drive to Montreal.
She planned to introduce our new boy Boreal Tecumseh to the show scene. We were pleasantly surprised how well he took the whole thing in. He even looked bored at times. Both T-Boy and Bijou enjoyed cuddling with each other. The spectators admired their plush short coats and commented on how well they conducted themselves in this noisy environment.

This show offers a variety of pet supply vendors, various pet products, an awesome dog show, pony rides, and obviously, a cat show. This Salon attracted up to 40,000 visitors in the past. An event this size puts into focus the love people have for their pets, whether they be feathered, scaled or furry little creatures, they enrich our lives by just trusting their lives in to our hands.
Back to cats... Our second participant to the show was Bijou, a young 11 month old female. This show was the second for Bijou and first for T-Boy. At the time of the show he was only 4 month old kitten, who had to face a tough competition. T-Boy managed to get called back for six finals. His father Bloke didn't fare so well at the same age.

It is always a pleasure to return to La Belle Province to enjoy a little bit more of Montreal.
We took a little time to explore old Montreal once more. Always a great pleasure... Au Revoir et a la prochaine.
