Jan 22, 2010: Hello from Smokey Bear
Hello Guy and Natalie!
Just wanted to let you know we are all still doing great. Had Smokey Bear to the vet for his annual check up and he is in great health. He weighs 11lbs and his heart, lungs, and teeth are doing great. Here is a recent picture of him in the box.

Jan 01, 2010: Happy New Year from Ailsa and Mungo!
Dear Guy and Natalie,
We have passed the one year birthdays for our Mungo and Ailsa. Their personalities have fully developed so now we really know who is who when they run by in a blur. However, there is a caveat in that statement....you still need to see that personality moments before the mad dash. Ailsa’s fur is still so fuzzy and puffy. She is a lot lighter and thinner. Mungo’s fur is flat and more sleek. He is gaining weight.

Dec 29, 2009: Christmas Wishes from Caesar and Maya
Hi everybody,
Just dropping you a quick Christmas Wish. I have been real busy settling into my new home, I love it here! Caesar and I had our differences when I first arrived. I took alot of punishment from him until I realized the magnetic power that I had on him....MY GENDER, and boy have I been milking this one. He is quite the sucker for my beauty. He follows me around like a little puppy dog...ooops I said the "P" word. Anyways, we are just preparing for Christmas and the New Year with decorations and of course, presents. Caesar just had his first B day, so there has been alot of activity around the house it has been quite exciting. Have a look at some of our pics!

Have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year,
Maya and Caesar

Dec 28, 2009: Hello from Vancouver!
Hello Guy and Natalie,
We hope you had a lovely holiday! We enjoyed our first Christmas in Vancouver with the kitties. They had as many presents as we did! The grandparents spoiled them. We are loving Vancouver, and we found a great sitter for the kittens. When we are away she comes twice a day to look after them. I've attached some new pictures...they are so big. We have them on an organic diet now, venison and high protein. They eat a LOT.

Best wishes,
Fiona and Ryan

Dec 24, 2009: Hello from Frodo and Lucy
Dear Guy and Natalie,
We hope that you are having a wonderful Christmas, and we wish you
every blessing in 2010. Frodo and Lucy bring us a lot of happiness
every day, and we are grateful to you for your excellent work. I often
say that Lucy was a loss to you, because she would have made an
excellent mother. She is very patient and ever since Ronan got a brush
cut she lies down next to him and washs his hair. I am convinced she
thinks she is his mother. She has the beautiful plush coat that is
described in the breed standard, in fact it reads like a description of
Lucy. Frodo is fluffier and lighter in colour. He doesn't really have
the short body either, we think he is quite an athlete. He does have
the expressive face of Bloke though, and always seems so engaged when we
talk to him. He loves the Christmas tree, he actually jumps through it
to try to knock off decorations which he thinks are cat toys. So far he
hasn't knocked the whole tree down! He spends quite a bit of time
rooting through presents, none of which have ribbons for obvious
reasons. Lucy is a little afraid of the tree and steers clear. She has
a terrible habit of sleeping in the kitchen sink, which we have given up
on trying to correct but it is a real turn off for guests! Even if you
turn the tap on her she doesn't respond much, she is very confident and
well adjusted.
We visit your website periodically, we are happy that Bloke is doing so
well. His picture radiates ego, he looks like he has become quite full
of himself with all of those awards. Both Ronan and Brigid have chosen
speech topics that are about cats, Brigid is telling about the day she
got Frodo and Lucy so you will have a starring role in that speech, Guy.
Ronan is telling why cats are better pets than dogs...this will elicit
a lot of controversy as his class if full of dog people. Actually,
Calum did the same topic last year. He said it is one of the great
debates..."mustard vs. mayo, the Sens vs. the Leafs" and in his
conclusion he stated that cats are better than dogs, mustard is better
than mayo, and the Sens and the Leafs are both horrible!
Merry Christmas to you and all of the kitties at Boreal, especially
Bloke and Cherie!
Janet (with greetings from the whole family!)

Dec 22, 2009: Hi from Baxter
Hi Guy:
Merry Christmas to you and Natalie and all your kitties. I see you have adopted out all your kittens. They were so cute. I was hoping to get one, but wanted to get Baxter's problem solved before I did anything. William was so cute, sounded a lot like Baxter.
Baxter is doing better I think. I have him on just soft food now, Eagle Pack, and his stools seem more normal and he hasn't left me any presents since I switched him. He only seems to go every two days (maybe that is normal for him). Everything else seems fine so hopefully he will settle down on this new regime. He is still a monkey and has a fascination with water. He loves it, and the minute a tap turns on he is there. His features are filling out, and he is looking more like his Dad. He is very loving, comes for cuddles a couple of times a day. He has his own ideas about things should go but is very easy going as well. Strange combination but the greatest company. He loves his walks outside, and looks forward to it everyday. He seems to wag his tail when it is time.
Happy New Year.
Annette
